Abstract: Management of facial nerve tumors

Facial nerve tumors represent less than 5% of the causes of facial nerve palsy.

Due to the high incidence of Bell's palsy, diagnosis of tumoral etiology is rarely taken into considerations at the presentation of symptoms.

In this presentation we present the correct investigations for an early diagnosis, the types of tumors involving the facial nerve, symptoms, clinical evaluation and the various techniques used according to the localization of the tumor along the facial nerve from the cerebello-pontine angle to the parotid.
